Background:
SynerMed is the leading Manages Services Organization (MSO) for Medi-Cal in the State of California representing over 1 million members. SynerMed is a high growth organization doubling over the last 2 years, but it was looking to enhance its business development process and build a scalable, world-class sales model. SynerMed utilizes Salesforce.com, but primarily as a service fulfillment application and it wanted any process to flow through Salesforce.com seamlessly.

The Project:
As part of our partnership with GTM B2B Consulting, we worked to completely revamp the sales process including creating a robust target physician web application. To create a seamless, scalable experience and save thousands of critical hours each year, Serious Development created a custom database of physician information and a web-based mapping application. The application allows business development personnel to ‘see’ the entire market of physicians, all their associations, and filter quickly in a matter of seconds to make decisions on which doctors to focus on.

Serious Development also created the ability to export all doctor information to Salesforce.com as well as the ability to sync both applications so that updated information from Salesforce.com could be viewed and modified in the application. This greatly increased the probability of sales staff utilizing the tool and putting all their leads into Salesforce and allows management to get a better view into the sales pipeline that they didn’t have previously.
